Meet Cheryl & Jasmine
With over 20 years of experience delivering authentic Asian cuisine, we are delighted to welcome Cheryl as Executive Chef at Velvet Wok, joined by her daughter Jasmine, our Senior Sous Chef.
Having previously led the kitchen as Head Chef at Oishii Bournemouth, as well as bringing her expertise to the legendary Funki Sushi and Cheryl's Sushi, Cheryl has built an outstanding reputation across the South Coast for creating authentic and innovative Asian cuisine.
You may also recognise Cheryl from her appearance on MasterChef: The Professionals, where her signature dishes earned praise from Greg Wallace, Michelin-starred Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti.
Together, Cheryl and Jasmine bring a shared passion for exceptional food, authentic flavours and memorable dining experiences. Their combined experience, creativity and dedication will be at the heart of everything we do at Velvet Wok.
